I've been using Mnemosyne and now Anki for a good number of years now and am happy with my card construction. If possible, give some examples of the kind of knowledge you're putting into you cards, and maybe we can figure out a better way of adding that to Anki. Users that routinely delete their posts once they receive an answer might be excluded from participating on the sub. Posts that are off-topic will be removed. Sorry if you don't understand my question, but it was really hard to explain. Also, if I make new flashcards, I will lose my progress, which I of course don't want. But I want to stick to the minimum information principle, so I want each specific cloze deleted piece of information to be in its own separate basic flashcard. So then it turns into one basic flashcard. I've been trying to change cloze cards to basic cards, but when i change the note type, the whole cloze gets converted instead of specific clozes (by specific clozes I mean specific information which I cloze deleted).
